Getting Started
You must have Adobe® Acrobat® Reader installed on your computer in
order to retrieve, save and print the trust document package. For your convenience,
you can download Acrobat Reader by clicking on the Get Acrobat Reader image.
Adobe, the Adobe logo, Acrobat and the Acrobat logo
are trademarks of Adobe Systems Incorporated.
ARIZONA RESIDENTS / SIGNING IN ARIZONA: If the client is an Arizona resident, or if the documents will be signed in Arizona, you must select the Attorney Review Service, unless you confirm one of the following: 1) you are an Attorney admitted to practice in Arizona, 2) you are an Arizona Certified Legal Document Preparer, or 3) you are working under the direct supervision of an Attorney or Certified Legal Document Preparer (whose services you may retain independently). If you are confirming this, you will be required to enter the AZCLDP number or ARIZONA BAR number of the person responsible for preparing the documents, prior to retrieving the trust document package from the Review Screen.
RESIDENTS OF OTHER STATES: To retrieve the trust document package from the Review Screen, you must confirm that you are responsible for complying with all rules and laws in your state relating to the preparation of legal documents and will retain the services of an Attorney where necessary.
To check the accuracy of data that you entered on the Trust Questionnaire, click the "Check Factual Data" button to retrieve a summary of the information that you entered. The summary will appear in your web browser's Adobe Acrobat Reader window. (Refer to "Retrieving Documents" below for more information on using Acrobat Reader.) If you find data entry mistakes, simply use your web browser's Back button (twice) to return to the Trust Questionnaire. Make the necessary changes and resubmit the questionnaire.
To submit the document package for Attorney Review, follow the directions shown on the screen. The attorney performing the review will inform you of the procedure he or she follows. In the event the review process uncovers something that needs to be corrected, you will be informed of what action is required. The attorney may require that you resubmit changes at the web site. If custom-drafted schedules or documents are required, a separate fee quote will be provided.
When the review has been completed, the attorney will inform you that the approved document package is ready for you to retrieve from the web site. The communication will reference the Document ID number that appears on the document package (which may be different from the one you originally submitted if changes were required). After the documents are signed and you have submitted copies of the signed pages to the attorney, he or she will send an Attorney Certification letter to the client, with a copy to you.
The buttons for printing and saving documents are located inside the
Acrobat Reader window. Do not confuse them with the Print button or other buttons
located at the top of your web browser. Pointing to the Acrobat Reader buttons with
your mouse will display text that tells you what the buttons do.
The Save Button looks like a diskette; the Print Button looks like a printer.
Make sure to remember the name of the folder or directory on your computer
into which you save the documents. The default filename extension for Adobe
Acrobat files is ".pdf". You will be asked for a filename, but do not change
the default extension (.pdf). Once you have saved the documents, you can
retrieve them in the future by using My Computer or Microsoft Windows Explorer
(or equivalent program) to select the folder or directory into which they were
saved, and then double-click on the filename to display them.
The web site and trust questionnaires are optimized for Microsoft Internet
Explorer version 5 or higher. Certain pages on the web site should
not be added to your Favorites (or Bookmarked). These include the Questionnaires,
the Review Screen and the documents themselves. An attempt to retrieve any of
these pages as a Favorite will generally result in an error message.
The majority of technical problems (including the inability of your web browser to bring up Acrobat Reader) can be resolved by downloading and re-installing the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. In addition, you may need to verify that your web browser's Internet Security Options are set to the default setting ("Medium" or "Medium-high"). For Microsoft Internet Explorer, use the Tools menu to select "Internet Options" then "Security".
If you need technical support, please send e-mail with a description of the problem you are having to: support@Q4Bcenter.com. Note that questions requiring legal advice cannot be addressed by Q4B Center.
